Danielle Henson is the Member at Large for elementary/middle schools and currently serves as the Principal of Hilton Elementary School. She has been an educator for 12 years and an administrator for 7 years within Baltimore City Public Schools. She seeks the office of Member at Large Elementary/Middle and feels qualified for the job because of her beliefs in transparent communication and collaboration. Serving as an administrator in a traditional school provides Ms. Henson with years of experience in navigating the role of a school leader. As we plan to embark upon the monumental task of opening schools and returning to pre-pandemic schedules, it is essential that school leadership receives support that is aligned with the challenges and opportunities that we will encounter. Ms. Henson is committed to breaking the norm of working in isolation. As school leaders we are the veins to our school communities and should be valued partners in leadership within City Schools.
